This luxury self catering property is located near to the small hamlet if Philleigh, on the beautiful Roseland Peninsula, Cornwall. The situation is quiet and secluded yet still only a few minutes drive away from the villages, attractions and beaches of the Roseland Peninsula. St Mawes, the main village on the Roseland, is a ten minute drive away and the large safe beaches that populate the southern coast of the Roseland are even closer.
Pippin Cottage is a spacious and comfortable three-bed holiday cottage and a delightful place to stay at any time of the year.
It is located in the heart of the Roseland Peninsula, just over a mile from
the superb sandy beaches of Pendower and Carne, on a family owned and
operated 580-acre arable and sheep farm.
Sitting adjacent to Penhallow Farmhouse on a slight hill above the sleepy
hamlet of Treworthal, its setting affords it beautiful and far-reaching
views across a patchwork of green meadows, arable fields and woodland
towards Gerrans Bay.
Originally the apple store and potting shed for the farmhouse, Pippin
Cottage has been cleverly converted to accommodate up to 6 guests plus a
cot, and we try and think of everything to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
The cottage is spacious and bright throughout. The front door leads into the living room with freeview TV, woodburner, a wide selection of books, DVD's and family games and French doors leading out to the large, private garden.
There is a well-equipped kitchen with all modern amenities including
dishwasher and freezer next to a large dining area. The 2 downstairs
bedrooms both offer twin or superking combinations and are adjacent to the downstairs bathroom and up the spiral stairs is a further double bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC.
