Successful Auction

The Charity Auction of Goods and Promises, that took place on Saturday the 2nd April, organised by St Philleigh Church and the Philleigh Community Centre Committee, was held to help fund the car park – the final work needed to complete the total refurbishment of the Community Centre, a project that will have taken four years of total dedication and commitment to complete.
The evening was a huge success and the generosity of all concerned – helpers, donors and purchasers of all the fifty four items was, simply, beyond anything that could have possibly been anticipated.
As a result, we are now able to complete all outstanding works and the Community Centre will be fully up and running and offering a full range of state of the art facilities, in a beautiful building and a delightful setting, from which the whole community will benefit for many years to come.
We shall soon be having an open evening to celebrate the completion of the new Philleigh Community Centre and we sincerely hope that you will come along and see for yourself just what you have kindly helped to make possible.
